Where can you explore and enjoy the energetic, creative efforts of a lot of Berkeley County’s young artists? TONIGHT (April 30) at Musselman High School Creative Arts Night. Drama, stage combat, improvisation, music, visual arts, photography will be all over the school. It sounds like a feast. Will we see you there? Starts at 6:00 pm.

You know how some of the best recipes start with prime ingredients, combined judiciously, seasoned with care and imagination, and allowed to mature like fine wine? We like to think of building an arts council as a similar process. While the activity may have been more in the background recently, it is ongoing and we have several announcements simmering in the background. Feel free to watch this pot – er, spot.
If you’re an artist, it’s time to put together your submission for the “Neighbors” exchange with Hampshire County. And the first regular annual meeting for the Berkeley Arts Council will be announced shortly, as we confirm the location and other details.
